Evolution Revisited

Tempted ever to buy something for your bike because it was the "lightest"? As cyclists we are constantly tempted by the sirens' song of the latest lightweight wheel or part. And how many times have these parts whose only discernible feature is their lack of mass let us down? Too many, for sure. The Z5 SL Limited is a bike that could be marketed solely by its weight. Last year the original Z5 was the lightest frame in the closely watched German Tour magazine frame test, however, light weight is not the defining characteristic of this machine. It is a light machine, lighter in reality than many companies "without paint" or catalog weights, but what makes this bike so special is the way it rides. Building upon all our experience from the very first Z1, the Z5 SL Limited is a bike built for a lifetime of sublime riding with none of the compromises that we have come to expect with the "lightest". No weight limits, no reduction of warranty, no reduction in function or fit. The Z5 SL Limited is breathtakingly light machine that can be ridden and raced every day of the week. Available in 12 Flex-Fit sizes to suit all riding styles. The Z5 SL Limited Edition has 100-150 (size dependent) grams of weight savings in over an (already light) Z5. The savings come from an enhanced layup schedule, ENVE 1.0 fork upgrade, minimalist finishes, our unique carbon fiber seat clamp and titanium hardware kit along with our legendary carbon fiber front derailleur clamp.

Available in very limited numbers for this season.
