The Griffen Vulcan WobbleNaught Setup
When Kevin Saunders went to Boise Idaho to get certified in Wobble-Naught Precision Laser Fitting, the Griffen Kompresser Vulcan road bike was the bike to be set up with the latest technology. One of the things learned in the certification course was the importance of matching handlbar width to shoulders and to get them wide enough to provide leverage for climbing. We used this re-fit of the bike to develop an install procedure for SRM power meters, as the aero tubing presenting an interesting challenge for mounting the crankset receiver.
This gallery shows the steps involved in putting on new bars, plus the routing of the SRM cables and sensors. The result is a clean, durable installation which will last through many tough rides and bike washes.
