Griffen Kompresser Vulcan Tri, XTC Orange Sunburst
We built up the Griffen Kompresser Vulcan XTC triathlon/tt bike because it was so hot. We chose the components that make up a great high-end bike sporting everyday riding wheels. We like Campagnolo Record for time trial bikes as much as we do for road bikes. To date, 95% of the bikes we have sold have been Campagnolo equipped.

The crankset we chose was the FSA Team Issue Carbon that we had tasked Dave Sem of Sem Custom Paint to repair. They have a 55/42 chainring set. We chose Speedplay Zero stainless pedals, and completed the drive train with Nokon cables and housing for both shifters and brakes.
We chose the upgraded version of Oval Concepts A900 integrated aerobars, using the carbon armrest holders and carbon brake levers. The bar extensions are actually HED prototype S-bend bars.
The saddle is a Fizik Arione Tri, and it sits atop a Thomson setback seatpost. Setback? Yes, we like the UCI 5 cm aft rule for triathlon fits as well, as it engages the glutes better, generating more power and saving the quads for the run. That is a different story, though!
Finally, the Griffen XTC version of their Kompresser Vulcan is very sexy with the lightening holes covered in Mylar, and the small Griffen decals to show the lightening holes. All in all, this is an incredible bike.
