This is one of our most repeated rides. We leave the store and head out 1604 west, turning on Housman Road, and again turning right on hwy 16. We turn again onto Scenic Loop and do the long grade up to the big hill on Babcock, which is a 10% grade. We turn right on Babcock and have mostly downhill with two significant uphill grades before turning left on Chase Hill, left again on 1604 and head home. This is a 30 mile ride with some "automatic" hill intervals. Babcock and Gray Forest also are super riding areas with little traffic.
