We have had a chance to remodel the studio, and after a year and a half have found better ways to lay out the space. This gallery shows how things look as of February 2008. We changed to a warmer brown carpeting, and have many more of our photographs on the wall. The photo studio/bicycle building area is in the back, and the fitting platform is in the same place, in front of the 50" plasma monitor.
The front of the studio is more intimate, and is very comfortable for planning bicycles, waiting while a friend or spouse gets fitted, or to just hang out and discuss cycling. One can see the new bike models we have, from the flagship Parlees to Co-Motion tandems and touring bikes; from Zinn big and tall, travel road and mountain bikes to Storck bicycles. We have just added Guru and a crono is visible. We have Serotta bicycles on the way and that will round out our offerings at this time.
The Tacx Fortius Multiplayer Virtual Reality trainer is shown with the Zinn big bike, and it is hooked up to a computer which displays the output on the 50" plasma. It is very impressive. Our fitting table/bicycle build workbench and our Gerstner Cherry Toolchest is in the very back of the studio. We don't have room to waste, but we have plenty of room to help one client at a time.
