KGS Bikes featured in Bicycling Magazine Editor's Choice Issue
San Antonio, TX -- KGS Bikes, an ultra high-end bicycle store, was featured in Bicycling Magazine in their June 2007 Editor's Choice issue. This is the second mention in the magazine, dubbed the "World's Leading Bike Magazine." The year-old high end bicycle store built a show bike for Parlee Cycles in Peabody Massachusetts, which one the coveted "Dream Bike of the Year" category in the Editor's Choice section. This comes on the heels of a bike the store built for Parlee which received a full page review in Bicycling's April issue. Kevin Saunders, owner, stated, "We are so happy to have a second opportunity to build a show bike that is mentioned in Bicycling. The time and effort we put into a perfect bike build is being recognized. Our phone is ringing off the hook from discriminating customers all over the world."
KGS Bikes also was featured in the "Burbles" section of Bicycling's June issue. This quarter page feature mentioned the addition of a professional photo studio in the store that allows unique photography of the bicycle and the owner. A 12 x 18 print of the bike is presented to the owner upon delivery, and special photo packages are also offered. This includes a portrait of the bicycle with the owner, an inaugural ride shot "Tour de France" style, and a custom one-of-a-kind coffee table book containing art prints of the owner's bike. Saunders says, "When one is buying a bike that can cost between $8,000-$30,000, it is not "just a bike." We recognize that our customers cherish their bikes and treat them as an extension of their personality. We strive to make our photos depict the bikes as they really are, rolling sculpture."
