The Parlee bicycle is considered by many to be the finest carbon fiber frame available. We agree, and this "first look" gallery is proof. We had been awaiting our first Parlee frame for weeks, and when it arrived, we were amazed at the workmanship, components used in manufacture, and most importanly the direction of the carbon fiber weave. 
Carbon fiber is only strong in tension. This means that cloth layed on the bias is not nearly as strong as cloth layed with the fibers lined up with the stress forces. Bob Parlee has done a fantastic job of achieving this, and with a clear coated frame, one can see the results. Notice the joints which have perfect carbon fiber directionality. Also notice the custom machined titanium rear dropouts with directional carbon wrapped around the joint.
Other components of note are the carbon cable stops and bottle cage studs. We found that the headset receivers, bottom bracket shell and the seatpost receivers were all perfect. This bike represents the level of perfection that we strive towards on every bike.
