KGS Bikes - Dallas

KGS Bikes is expanding into Dallas in two ways. Kevin Saunders is traveling to Dallas every other week to perform fittings and bicycle consultations. We are setting up our fitting studio at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites at Lincoln Park to provide our clients a focused and effective fitting environment in the Park Cities area. Our other venue is the creation of KGS Bikes Dallas at 731 Exposition Avenue near Fair Park. We are converting the former White Rock Cycles into a fitting and Concours bicycle studio. The store will be run by Kevin Bucy, a 25 year associate of Kevin Saunders. Kevin is well known in Dallas as the most knowledgable and proficient fitter and bike builder in Dallas. While the remodeling is underway we will use the Hyatt Summerfield Suites as our fitting headquarters and future fittings will be done at both locations to make our services as convenient as possible.

The Dallas location will have a flavor of Deep Ellum which is experiencing a tremendous rebirth. We will be able to perform fittings, Concours bicycle builds and maintenance just like we do in San Antonio. White Rock Cycles started here 15 years ago, before the concept of fitting studios was viable. Kevin Bucy had the idea to create a high end studio but the market did not support it. When the timing was right and we started KGS Bikes in San Antonio the decision was made to eventually turn White Rock Cycles into KGS Bikes - Dallas once we had proven the concept and moved past our startup phase in San Antonio.
