Lennard Zinn has built custom bicycles for 25 years. He is an innovative designer who builds frames in titanium, steel and even magnesium! Lennard builds road, mountain and tandem bike frames, all pure custom. Here are some observations we have:
- The bike frames have extremely good workmanship.
- Any custom geometry is possible.
- Powder coat painting is their preferred finish which is more durable than spray coatings, but is less flashy. Lennard wants to use environmentally friendly processes and this is his main reason for this choice. We can provide custom painting by Sem Custom Paint if you prefer.
- While Lennard is the gold standard for riders over 6'3", he also builds a fine women's frame. The magnesium frame we have is light, stiff and comfortable.
- Lennard's knowledge of "all things cycling" translates to his framebuilding. He can build a road frame for a 7' rider with 220 mm cranks, and can build a dual suspension mountain bike. We like that he can fill in all the gaps between our other brands.
- Breakaway bikes are also possible, and we have many requirements for a true "travel bike".
Lennard is our Technical Writer and advisor, plus has graciously allowed us to integrate his custom bicycle sizing calculator into our website. We cannot say enough nice things about him and his bikes are simply incredible. They allow us to fit virtually any rider with extreme confidence.
